Welcome to The Confluence.
I decided to split out my sports writing from An Amrikan Chimaera because I felt it was taking over. I have a lot to say about sports and figured it should be given its own forum. The Confluence is intended to talk about any of the sports issues of the day. Quite often, I enjoy noting the interconnectedness of the various trivial pursuits that we follow.
It should be pretty obvious to anyone who knows me or reads my work that I’m Pittsburgh proud. I love the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates (yes, them) and of course, the alma mater, Pitt. I’m also a big Liverpool FC fan. I try not to be too much of a homer too often in my writing but if I am… well, bugger off because most of the time, my teams are better than yours, fool.
