Bangladesh – New Years Naughty

I have seen the light… and she’s hott.  All of the she’s!  what? I hope yuz had a good New Years.  Mine was pretty fun. I went out with my cousins Raiyan & Buneka to a huge New Years Eve party.  My friend Tushith was there too.  Simple culture shock.  It’s like I told Buneka and Tushith – everytime I go to the Bangulands, I can mentally prepare myself to handle the squalor, the poverty, the dirt and pollution… but just like 3 yrs ago when I went to a party with Tushith at the house of the richest dude in Bangladesh, once again, I was taken aback.

The party was held outdoors (weather here is scrumptious) over an expanse of three contiguous backyards.  There was something like 200-300 young’ns and no adult type people.  At one end, there were servants serving up drinks and hors d’oeurves.  There was a dance floor with a DJ; the music wasn’t cutting-edge great but a mostly serviceable mix of hip hop, techno and desi/bhangra.

The interesting thing is that the Bangali girls there (besides being exceedingly hott) sortuv confounded my expectations of what our girls look like.  There was more variety in the faces than I thought existed.  One of them that we were hanging out with, if you hadn’t told me she was Bangali, I would’ve instantly pegged her for being Gujrati.  hmmm… I guess we all do look alike eh?  I enjoy the sauce, d*mnit.

We left the party around 2:30am-ish and went back to Raiyan’s house and hung out.  I didn’t get to sleep till around 6.30am which is rare for me because normally I’m in bed by 3.30-4.00am at the latest.  I still woke up at 9.30am.  d’oh.  Ok, back to eating food.  Peace.
